Division I Meet
Heartland Aquatics finished in 4th place overall at the Division I meet, a great finish to the short course season! In addition to this great team finish, there were 22 club individual and 8 club relay records set at the meet! Special congratulations to our swimmers that finished in the top 10 of their age groups:

Division II Meet
HLA swimmers earned a total of 19 new Division I cuts, 67 medals, and 114 personal best times! Elizabeth Shipman also won the high point award for the 15 and Over Girls division. Way to go!!!

Sectionals Meet
At the Sectionals meet in Columbia, Missouri, HLA swimmers achieved 15 personal bests and set 5 HLA individual records and 3 HLA relay records! Congratulations to Ryan Bubb, Nick Caruso, Mattea Fosbender, Aaron Henry, Andrew Nelson, and Logan Sutton on some outstanding performances!

Allstars Meet
Eight HLA swimmers qualified to represtent Midwestern Swimming at the 2008 All Stars meet in Lawrence, Kansas. Congratulations to Alexis Altmaier, Kera Barber, Alexa Goldenstein, Alex Kuszak, Jacob Molacek, Jacob Pales, Chantel Rosenboom, and Meredith Wekesser on their outstanding performances!

Miki, a sophomore at Lincoln Southwest, was the Channel 10/11 Prep Athlete of the week February 27, 2008. Miki delivered the 1st State Swimming Championship in her high school's history by winning the Girls 100-yard backstroke at the State Swimming Meet. See the story on the KOLN/KGIN website.
